Building from Toledo, shipping worldwide

Medicine meets machine intelligence.

EDMHS is a lean startup that built an AI-engineered clinical platform from a physician’s lived experience — 14 years of family medicine, 9 years of military communications engineering, and a data science certification forged in adversity. Zero VC. Zero excuses. Working code.

The lean startup that wouldn’t quit

Built by a physician who codes, deploys, and treats patients.

EDMHS was not born in a Silicon Valley incubator. It was built by Dr. Darrell A. Hall — a board-certified family physician with a Master’s in Computer Information Systems from Boston University, a Professional Data Scientist certification, and a military career that included engineering the Department of Defense’s internet infrastructure during the DARPA era.

When the opioid crisis exposed systemic failures in how chronic pain is managed, documented, and tracked, Dr. Hall didn’t wait for a grant. He started building. PMSG. NABS. GeoCode. The TCM Meridian Predictor. A full-stack clinical ecosystem — bootstrapped, battle-tested, and grounded in real patient outcomes.

This is what a lean startup looks like when the founder has treated thousands of patients, written database management systems since 1985, and refuses to accept that innovation requires permission.

1985
First AI course at Boston University. DARPA internet architecture. Postgres database systems for military wargaming.
1993
Medical school at Wright State. Summer research on DEXA scan parameters that would define osteoporosis diagnostics.
1997
Family practice residency. Built an EMR prototype — 15 years before the industry adopted electronic records.
2001
First digital prescription system. Wireless WAN-enabled practice. Telemedicine testing — two decades before COVID forced adoption.
2022
Certified Professional Data Scientist. Began building PMSG, NABS, and the GeoCode analytics platform.
2026
Full platform ecosystem operational. Five interconnected systems. Zero venture capital. One physician’s vision, delivered.

Five platforms. One ecosystem.

Every platform feeds data to every other. The whole is exponentially greater than its parts.

PMSG
Pain Management Support Group
An 8-week, 32-session curriculum integrating pain neuroscience education, CBT, traditional Chinese medicine, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and anti-inflammatory nutrition. 80 contact hours. BPI/ODI outcome tracking. The only structured group chronic pain program in the US combining all five modalities.
32 sessions 5 cohort types BPI + ODI TCM meridians
🌡
NABS
Non-Ambulatory Bathing System
A biomedical device that safely bathes non-ambulatory patients while performing continuous thermal scanning. A CNN pipeline classifies pressure injuries at Stage I — before they’re clinically visible. The Knight’s Tour algorithm models thermal signal propagation across tissue planes.
CNN inference 5 tissue planes Thermal imaging Raspberry Pi

GEOCODE ANALYTICS
Geospatial Substance Abuse Mapping
Census-tract-level mapping of substance abuse patterns, treatment outcomes, and relapse risk across Lucas County. Integrates wearable telemetry (heart rate, GSR, GPS) with PMSG attendance data and SAMHSA population health databases. Directional sector analysis for targeted intervention deployment.
Census tract Wearable GSR R Shiny SAMHSA data
🧠
TCM MERIDIAN PREDICTOR
Injury-to-Meridian Clinical Decision Support
Given a pain presentation, the system identifies relevant meridian pathways, recommends evidence-based acupoint protocols with needling depth and technique, herbal supplements with dosing and evidence grades, and condition-specific Qi Gong/Tai Chi movement prescriptions.
14 meridians 361+ points SOAP integration Herbal Rx

Market analysis · 2026

No comparable program exists in the United States.

We searched every integrated pain management program in the country: Mount Sinai, Cleveland Clinic, VA Whole Health, UCSD, People’s Community Clinic (Austin), and dozens of academic centers. Every one is missing at least three of PMSG’s five pillars.

PMSG is the only platform combining a structured 32-session group curriculum, TCM meridian mapping with acupoint protocols, CBT/behavioral activation, wearable telemetry with geospatial relapse surveillance, and CNN-based thermal imaging for pressure injury detection — all feeding a single closed-loop intelligence system.
